Milwaukee Working is a non-profit organization in the central city, creating jobs for men and women who are underemployed, never employed, or background-challenged in various ways. We purposefully employs those whom other companies would reject due to their troubled backgrounds. We go beyond job training and resume building to employ people full-time, offering life transformation through the dignity of work.

Our Light Assembly Shop makes furniture, including patio furniture from re-purposed pallets.
Our Books for Jobs Program partners with churches, schools, libraries, businesses, civic groups, etc. who believe in our mission of creating an environment where men and women thrive with direction and guidance. We resell online used books and media.
